Samuel  Wilson
Samuel Wilson was born March 18, 1934 in St.Francisville Louisiana to Rev. Henry and Elnora Wilson but grew up in New Orleans Louisiana.

Samuel went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 08, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Henry and Elnora Wilson, his daughter Cynthia Kay Wilson and two sisters: Mary Hayes and Emma Lee Smith.

Samuel is survived by his former wives (div., Helen(Haggert)Wilson 1956-1962), (div., Menelia (Guy)Wilson 1963-2002),four sons Mark Wilson, Samuel (Marie) Martin Wilson Jr., Ronald Henry Wilson, Maurice (Kindra) Scott Wilson, three daughters Martha (Derek) Ann Moore, Jacqueline (Willie) Patterson, June Ellen Wilson, niece Gaynell Smith, nephew Tyrone Smith, grandniece Tinisha Williams, grandnephew DonEric Hughes, a great grandniece, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, cousins and friends.

Samuel was a Veteran who served in the US Air Force and US Coast Guard during the Korean War.

Samuel was employed at various jobs like Steelcase, Truck driver, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler before retiring.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, July 16, 2018 at Ivy K. Gillespie Memorial Chapel 1865 Eastern Ave SE, at 11:30 AM
