Mr. Ben Robbie Adams was born on January 11, 1963 to Robert Lee Adams and Virginia Lucille Walls in Grand Rapids, MI. Ben received his formal education through the Grand Rapids Public School System, where he attended Ottawa Hills High.
Ben met his high school sweetheart Nanette D. Soule at Ottawa Hills in 1978, fell in love and were inseparable uniting in Holy Matrimony in 1984, to this union three children were born.
Ben accepted Christ at an early age from Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the late (Pastor Maurice Jones).
Ben was a very hard working man and a great provider for his family up until his untimely demise. Ben was big on family he loved everything about being a husband, father, brother, uncle and his greatest joy a grandfather. Ben didn’t just marry his wife he also married the family and was there for all of us. This man loved his family!
To know Ben was to love Ben and be ready to hear him talk (non stop)! It was hard to get a word in edge wise and when you did he was going to debate it, question it and explain his point of view, then without a doubt at the end of the conversation...it was going to be the principle of the thing!
Ben was proceeded in death by his grandparents Benjamin Walls & Marie DuPree, (Estell Walls), Willie (Panky Lee) Adams, Leroy (Lillie) Berry Sr. and his father Robert Lee Adams, Father in law Allen S. Soule, Mother in law Shirley M. Soule, Aunt Shirley Honorable,(Brother) Lee Edwards Adams.
Mr. Ben Robbie Adams leaves to cherish his life; mother Virginia L. Adams of Amory, MS, his loving wife Nanette D. Adams, of Grand Rapids, MI, three children Nanette D. Adams, Beniesha R. Adams and only son Ben (Rachel) Adams all of Grand Rapids, MI. Special Uncle Leroy Berry Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI. Sister Rock Ann Adams of Amory, MS, brother Ricky Adams of Atlanta, GA. Brothers in law, David A. Soule, Anthony (Michelle) Soule, Andre A. Soule, Sisters-in-law Yevette S. Soule and Bridgette (Stanley) Tolbert all of Grand Rapids, MI. Six grandchildren and one on the way. Seanna Taylor-Adams, Rheanna Siggers, Breeon Adams, twins Quran and Qurion Williams and Baelynn Adams. Special Double Cousins/ Sisters Jane M. (Lester) Smith of Amory, MS. and Shelley A. (Douglas) Daniels of Grand Rapids, MI. also Gayle Walls of Amory, MS. Best friend of over 50 years Keith Fox, Rodney Armstrong and Julian Payton a.k.a Big Hommie and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, family and friends.
